任天堂次世代主机Wii发售日期的接近，各大媒体对任天堂的关注增高，特别对高级管理人员的访问也变的很频繁，任天堂美国分社副总裁Perrin Kaplan近日接受国外媒体CNN采访。

    当被询问竞争方面问题时，但是她却很轻松的回答：“人们非常兴奋有关Wii的事，而且赞赏它的创新和独特的表现方法，那些非常非常热爱游戏想要拥有所有主机的人，他们有一定钱或许会先购买索尼或者微软的主机然后再购买任天堂的Wii，但是那些没有很多钱却喜爱游戏的人——他们将会购买Wii，所有的人。”

Kaplan was also questioned on the threat from the competition, but provided a relaxed response. "People are very excited about [Wii] and appreciating its innovation and its unique and different approach. Those people who are very, very avid about gaming are probably going to own all the systems, those who only have X amount of money will probably own [systems from] Sony or Microsoft and then buy the Wii system from Nintendo. Those who don't have much and really love gaming - they're going to buy Wii, all of them," she explained.
